DONE DEAL: Falcons Sign WRs From Minnesota Vikings And Bowling Green, In A Corresponding Move Releasing TE Tucker Fisk.

Daylen Baldwin and OJ Hiliare, two wide receivers, were signed by the Falcons, the team announced on Tuesday. The Falcons made a matching move by cutting tight end Tucker Fisk.

Baldwin recently concluded a brief 2023 season with the Minnesota Vikings. He signed in November right before Thanksgiving, but on December 12, a few weeks later, he was let go. He was waived earlier this month, despite having signed a reserve/future contract with the Vikings following the 2023 season.

Baldwin began his professional career with the Cleveland Browns, where he was a member of the practice squad until the 2022 year. During his one game there, he caught both of his targets at a distance of 25 yards.

Baldwin played collegiate football for three different schools: Morgan State (2017–18), Jackson State (2019–20), and Michigan (2021).
Baldwin played in all 14 games during his one and only season at Michigan, starting five of them. For 256 receiving yards and two scores, he grabbed 17 passes.

Baldwin’s career total of 28 games before Michigan included 57 catches for 873 yards and nine touchdowns at Jackson State and Morgan State.

Hiliare, a Bowling Green native, is an undrafted free agent this season. He played there during the 2022–2023 seasons, making 18 starts in 26 games overall. He had 58 receptions for 747 yards and six touchdowns in 2022. He then caught 45 passes for 532 yards and four touchdowns in 2023.

Hiliare spent three years as an Alabama A&M player prior to attending Bowling Green. He caught 103 passes for 1,365 yards and 13 touchdowns in 22 games during his career.

Fisk joined the practice squad of the Falcons in 2022 before becoming a full-time member. He was added to the active roster many times in 2023, appearing in six games with two starts. In the Falcons’ Week 15 loss to the Carolina Panthers, he caught his lone target for nine yards.
