Tucker Kraft Might Play a Significant Part in 2024
Luke Musgrave missed six games last season due to a laceration on his kidney. Musgrave was given the starting tight end job because of his outstanding preseason and training camp performances.He hauled in 34 passes for 352 yards and one touchdown.
GM Brian Gutekunst chose Tucker Kraft one round after Musgrave. Musgrave secured the starting position throughout training camp, but after Musgrave was hurt, Kraft took over.
Earlier in the season, Kraft played mostly as a blocker and saw very little action as a receiver. However, he shown his value when given the opportunity later in the season. Kraft finished his first campaign with 31 receptions for 355 yards and two scores.
