Coral Springs, Florida — The league administration declared on Sunday that the Miami Hurricanes would start as the No. 11 seed in the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Championship.

Second-seeded Clemson (40-13, 20-10 ACC) and seventh-seeded Louisville (32-22, 16-14 ACC) are also in Pool B with Miami (25-29, 11-19 ACC). The Hurricanes and Cardinals will kick off postseason action on Tuesday at 11 a.m. To wrap up pool play on Thursday, Miami will play the Tigers at 11 a.m.

The ACC Baseball Championship, which gets underway at Charlotte, North Carolina’s Truist Field on Tuesday, has North Carolina (41-12, 22-8 ACC), the Coastal Division victor, as the number one seed.

The eighth-seeded Wake Forest (36-19, 15-15 ACC) and the 12th-seeded Pitt (26-27, 10-20 ACC) will accompany the Tar Heels as they lead Pool A.

In Pool C, No. 6 Duke (35-18, 16-14 ACC), No. 10 Virginia Tech (32-20, 14-16 ACC), and No. 3 NC State (32-19, 18-11 ACC) are competing.

To decide the conference winner, the ACC Baseball Championship will include a pool-play format that will advance to a four-team, single-elimination tournament. From Tuesday through Friday, May 21–24, each team in the four pools will play round robin in its own pool.

The top four teams in each of their individual pools will move on to the semifinals on Saturday, where the victorious teams will compete on Sunday in the ACC Championship Game.

The team with the higher seed in each pool advances if, at the end of pool play, the teams are tied.
The times of the games are 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday. The semifinals on Saturday are slated to begin at 1 and 5 p.m., while the championship on Sunday is set to begin at noon.
