LSU FIXTURES UPDATE: LSU ‘Lady Tigers’ learn of New Opponents In Home-And-Road Pairings, As SEC Unveils New 2025 Roster.

In 2024–25, the LSU women’s basketball team will play in its debut season in the newly expanded Southeastern Conference, traveling to Texas and hosting Oklahoma.

The conference home-and-road schedules for all 16 of the league’s women’s basketball teams were disclosed by the league on Tuesday. The 16-game conference schedule for each institution is the same as it was the previous year.

SEC teams face a single opponent twice a year, once at home and once away. Next season for LSU, that opposition will be Tennessee, who appointed former Marshall coach Kim Caldwell in April to take Kellie Harper’s place.

The most recent meeting between Texas and LSU occurred in 2017. The Sooners defeated the Tigers 90-68 in their lone meeting, which took place in December 2020.

Raegan Beers (All-American forward, Oregon State, first two seasons) was one of the best transfers in the country that Oklahoma added. The Sooners advanced to the NCAA tournament’s second round the previous season and won the Big 12 regular-season championship.

Madison Booker, the first freshman to win Big 12 player of the year, is returning for Texas, which made it to the Elite Eight last season. Another senior who is expected to rejoin the Longhorns is Rori Harmon, who was sidelined by a knee injury for the most of her junior year.

LSU currently has one nonconference match scheduled, which is at Bossier City on December 8th against Grambling.
