A Star Player pours cold water on return to the NFL after new Eagles recruit Saquon Barkley hinted he should UNRETIRE for another Super Bowl run

Jason Kelce swears he will not return to the NFL next season, despite new Philadelphia Eagles recruit Saquon Barkley’s attempts to persuade him to come out of retirement.

On the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast, Barkley discussed his move from the New York Giants to Philadelphia, before Jason vowed that Jalen Hurts and the rest of the squad will be’rejuvenated’ for another Super Bowl run.

After declaring it will be a ‘amazing environment’ in the building next year, Kelce made the mistake of claiming it will be’so wonderful to watch’, prompting Barkley to intervene and say, ‘You don’t have to watch it, you know…

Amidst Travis and Saquon’s laughter, Jason immediately responds: ‘I’ll offer you one piece of advise… before you ask me to come back, I’m not going to come back, I’m not doing it, nothing to add.’

Jason then offered his counsel on the horrific ‘tush push’ made famous by the Eagles: ‘Do not go down at the one-yard line!’

Travis continued the debate by joking, ‘They didn’t prohibit it, they didn’t ban it!’, referring to the NFL’s decision to allow Philadelphia to continue employing their unique one-yard line push for the end zone.

There has been a lot of conjecture about what Jason Kelce will do next, only weeks after his dramatic 40-minute farewell address at Eagles headquarters.

According to The Athletic, ESPN is ‘aggressively trying to recruit him for their Monday Night Football program’, so television appears to be his best option.

Jason Kelce retires from NFL. Is ranching part of his future?

Kelce’s stock has risen dramatically in the last year, thanks in part to his brother’s high-profile engagement with Taylor Swift, and their New Heights podcast is the most popular in the world.

Next month, the popular duo will perform their usually pre-recorded show live on stage at their alma college in Cincinnati.

Tickets have been flying off the shelves in recent weeks, with students and supporters scrambling for a seat in the stadium to see the chaos.

Unfortunately for the Swifties, Taylor appears to be unable to attend the show, as she begins the European leg of her sold-out Eras tour.
